This cook-off benefits Do You Give a Ruck? (DYGAR). Based in Vero Beach, they bring veterans and supporters together to raise awareness, fund veteran causes, and help meet essential needs across the Treasure Coast.

Let’s get cooking

Save a spot for your team.

Choose your categories and tell us who’s cooking. We’ll contact you to confirm your space and share the final event details.

No entry fee. Teams supply their food, cooking equipment, and tasting samples.

Team rules & registration requirements

Choose your categories. Enter one category or all five: chicken, pulled pork, ribs, baked beans, and dessert. There is no team entry fee.
Bring your own supplies. Teams provide their food and cooking equipment. Tell us about equipment and space needs in the sign-up form.
Provide tasting samples. Teams must be able to provide small samples for attendees as part of People’s Choice participation. Sample quantities and serving details will be confirmed by the organizer.
Know the awards. People’s Choice awards are $500 in each of the five categories. Judges’ Choice awards are trophies and bragging rights.
Wait for space confirmation. Submitting the form records your registration request. Your team’s space is confirmed separately by the organizer.
Review the final event instructions. Arrival times, the cooks’ meeting, judging and voting procedures, preparation requirements, and equipment arrangements will be shared when confirmed.
